The Independent Monitor Team will be returning to Western North Carolina in the Fall 2024 to meet with small groups and individuals.  Our purpose is to continue to share information about the work that we do, get to know the people of WNC, and provide an opportunity for individuals and groups to share information with the Independent Monitor.

If you have a small group or civic organization that you would like to invite the Independent Monitor to attend, please notify the Team at:  Mission@AffiliatedMonitors.com.

We look forward to seeing you soon and continuing to build community!

In June 2024, the Independent Monitor held Community Meetings where individuals heard about the Independent Monitor’s work and were able to ask questions of the Independent Monitor. To view a video recording of any of those meetings, visit the Community Meetings page.  The Independent Monitor also offers other ways to share concerns or feedback related to HCA’s compliance with its obligations under the APA. You can email us at Mission@AffiliatedMonitors.com. We are also in the process of developing a web-based form and telephone hotline that will allow you to submit your concerns confidentially, and if you choose, anonymously.
